What skill level are these courses designed for?

I have courses that cater to all skill levels – from the novice that has never touched SketchUp or V-Ray before, to the working professional that needs to hone their modeling and rendering skills. If you are new to SketchUp and V-Ray, I recommend enrolling in my 7-Day SketchUp Bootcamp for Interior Design.  This teaches the basics of SketchUp and V-Ray and will get you up to speed fast. If you know SketchUp but need to learn how to render SketchUp models, I recommend FOCUSED V-Ray for SketchUp.  This gives you an in-depth view of how to use V-Ray to create photorealistic images of SketchUp models. My other courses range in skill levels and are categorized as “Beginner” or “Intermediate” above.

Are the courses self-paced or instructor-led?

All of my courses are self-paced, pre-recorded videos that you can watch whenever you like. They can be accessed 24/7 from a computer, tablet, or mobile device, although I recommend viewing them on a computer so you can see up-close what I am doing during each lesson.

Do I need any prior experience with SketchUp to enroll in these courses?

The Intermediate Courses that I offer do require a prior knowledge of SketchUp and V-Ray.  For those that need to learn SketchUp and V-Ray first, I recommend my Bootcamp for SketchUp.

Are there any software or hardware requirements to access the courses?

You will need a working computer that is relatively new (last 1-3 years) to use SketchUp and V-Ray on.  Please read my blog post on this subject, What Computer Do I Need for SketchUp and V-Ray for detailed information and hardware suggestions.  To view the lessons, you simply need a laptop, computer, or tablet that has internet connectivity. SketchUp offers a 7 day free trial and V-Ray offers a 30 day free trial.  You can utilize those while taking the course.  In my other courses, I may recommend certain free or paid software for you to use.  For each course, check the FAQ section for a description of the software required. 

Can I access the course materials after completing them?

Yes! You have 24/7 access to all lessons and course material for the lifetime of each course, and you get access to all the future updates and enhancements. 

Do you offer any certificates upon completion of the courses?

Currently, I offer a certificate for two courses – FOCUSED SketchUp for Interior Design and FOCUSED SketchUp for Kitchens and Baths. There are final projects for each of those courses, and upon completion and render submission, I issue a Certificate of Completion for the course.   

Do you offer any discounts or promotions for multiple course enrollments?
