This course is absolutely suitable for beginners, but it doesn’t stop there. No, the only prerequisites are that you have a working computer (no iPads) that can handle SketchUp and have a three-button mouse (can be purchased easily from amazon if you don’t have one).

Yes - this course is very hands-on. You won’t just watch techniques in isolation; you’ll build along with me on real projects. The core project is a complete custom home office built-in, modeled from start to finish. You’ll go through the process of structuring the cabinetry correctly, placing it into a room, creating scenes and elevations, producing documentation, generating cut lists, and preparing files for fabrication. Along the way, each module reinforces what you’re learning through practical application, so by the time you finish, you’ve not only learned the concepts - you’ve actually built something you can reference, reuse, and adapt for real client or shop projects.
