A countertop's top edge is often dozens of little edges round its curves. Bevel picks the whole run from one point and stops at real corners.

  • Ctrl takes just one edge; Shift adds more.
  • Point at a face for all its edges, or hold Alt for a whole group or component.

How It Works

Three Steps to a Finished Edge

    Pick a profile

    Round, chamfer, a router shape or a countertop edge, from the Bevel profiles window.

  2. 2

    Point at the edge

    Its whole run lights up, round the curves. Point at a face for its edges, or hold Alt for a whole group.

  3. 3

    Click or type the size

    Move away from the edge and click, or type it: a number is always the size. For a countertop edge, the slab thickness.

Which countertop edges are included?

20 countertop edges researched from fabricator guides: Eased, Pencil, Quarter round, 3/8" round, Demi bullnose, Half bullnose, Full bullnose, Double bullnose, Triple pencil, Bevel 1/4", Bevel 1/2", Double bevel, Ogee, Roman ogee, Cove ogee, Ogee bullnose, Dupont, Cove Dupont, Cove (underside), Stairstep. They fit the slab thickness by themselves.

Can it round a curved countertop edge?

Yes. Point at the top edge and the whole run lights up, round its curves, stopping at real corners. One click bevels it all.

Can I change the size after the bevel?

Yes. Type a new size, change the segments with the up and down arrows, or press Tab to swap round and chamfer. Every change still works after the bevel is made, and it is all one undo step.

What if the size is too big?

It is limited to the largest size that works instead of breaking the model, and any corner it cannot do is marked in red with the reason. Nothing changes until the whole bevel has been checked.

Does it keep my materials?

Yes. Rebuilt faces keep their paint, texture position, tag and attributes, and the new bevel faces take the paint of the face beside them.

Does it work on groups and components?

Yes. Edges inside closed groups and components are picked through them, and Alt bevels a whole group. A component changes in every copy, and the status bar tells you.
